Extrabismos es una revista online multimedia cuyo propósito es ofrecer materiales periodísticos y académicos sobre la creación audiovisual. Estamos interesados tanto en las prácticas tradicionales como en las nuevas, y abiertos a mirar el pasado, evaluar el presente e  imaginar el futuro, con el inalterable compromiso crítico al que nos obliga la época que nos tocó vivir. Nos interesa la escritura y reflexión sobre el audiovisual como ejercicio de libertad en un tiempo abundante en dogmas y fáciles seducciones. Creemos que el audiovisual es arte, entretenimiento, industria, pero también pensamiento.

Extrabismos is an online multimedia journal whose main objective is to offer academic and journalistic materials concerning the creation of audiovisual works and pieces. We are interested in both, traditional practices, as well as new ones; accordingly, we are open to look at the past, evaluate the present and visualize the future, with the unalterable critical commitment prompted by the time we have had to live. We are interested in the critical writing and analysis about the audiovisual narrative as exercise of freedom in a time full of dogmas and easy seduction. We trusty consider this issue not only an art, entertainment, industry, but thought as well.
